Terms & Conditions:At DamaFix, our goal is to provide high-quality surface repairs that are durable, cost-effective, and visually seamless. While our services offer a great alternative to full replacement, it’s important to note that repaired or refinished areas, though restored to an excellent condition, are not brand new. All colours are matched during the visit, and we aim to deliver a virtually invisible result—undetectable from a viewing distance of one metre.You may notice a slight difference in sheen between the freshly restored section and the surrounding older surface. This is normal and will blend in naturally over time.One-Month Warranty (Domestic Properties)We offer a 1-month warranty on all repair work carried out in residential settings. This warranty covers:Peeling or flaking finishesLoss of adhesionThe warranty is valid under the following conditions:Only mild, non-abrasive cleaners (such as those from Ecover or Method) should be used for cleaning.Do not use bleach, caustic agents, or steam cleaners.Physical damage like chips, knocks, or scratches caused after the repair are not covered.Staining from chemicals or dyes is excluded.Surfaces exposed to direct flames or temperatures above 350°C are not covered.Damage due to moisture, structural shifts, or movement of surrounding materials is not covered.Please note: This warranty does not apply to solid wood worktops, as ongoing maintenance (such as oiling) is the customer's responsibility.Terms, Conditions & Customer ResponsibilityFor any resurfacing work, the final colour must be agreed upon by the customer (or their representative) before application begins. Once applied, colour changes require a full reapplication at the customer’s expense.If our technicians are asked to remove or adjust fittings, such as handles or fixtures, it is done as a courtesy. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur, especially where fittings are old or fragile. Where possible, our team will return all components to their original positions unless doing so is not feasible.Additional Fees & CancellationsAdditional costs may be incurred if:Appointments that are cancelled after 3:00 PM the day before the scheduled visit and we cannot rebook the slotThe original quote was based on incorrect or incomplete informationThe property or work area is inaccessibleThe scope of work has changed significantly and the task cannot be completed as plannedStructural Repairs & LimitationsWhere structural work is required to make a cosmetic repair possible, these repairs are not covered under the warranty. The repaired area could be vulnerable to pressure or load-bearing forces that are beyond our control.If a surface is assessed as unsuitable for repair, DamaFix will always inform you before any work begins. In some cases, attempting a repair could worsen the condition. In such situations, DamaFix cannot accept liability for any further damage, and a £60 call-out fee may still apply.
